Samantha knows firsthand that if her patients feet don’t feel comfortable, then this will hinder their desire and ability to live a full and active life. Samantha cares for what ails them and helps them to feel more comfortable overall.
Samantha’s advice for her foot care clients?
For overall foot health, inspect your feet daily. Watch for any significant changes in your feet including: calluses, corns, sores or wounds you may have incurred from having stepped on something. Those with diabetes are often at greater risk, so a daily foot inspection will be critical.
As well, moisturize daily, and don’t underestimate the importance of wearing proper fitting shoes. For healthy aging, be proactive by staying active. Whether a short walk or activity from a chair, keep moving the best way that you can.
In her personal time Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 year old daughter going for walks, and exploring nature. Her guilty pleasure – cookies!
